The CampusThe Center for Green Studies is located in the Village of Islamorada on the Florida Keys. 
Our goal is to develop and share green technology. Our base of operations is on Plantation Key; half way between Miami and Key West. Here we sponsor symposiums, conferences and events aimed at bringing people and green living together. 
The Center for Green Studies is perfecting methods of recovering sea water on the Florida Keys. Whereas the individual machines are readily available, assembling a fully operational plant with harmoniously interacting parts is still challenging. Research into the practical application of existing reverse osmosis technology is necessary. In addition there are conditions in the Florida Keys which are not fully resolved. Drawing water from a well protects the source from storms and hurricanes. However, the ground itself produces residue which has, to date, baffled experts. The end result will combine the existing technology with the unique local conditions. |
